Pediatric dentists are specifically trained to provide comprehensive dental care services to infants and children, including children with special needs. Dental services for children ages 6 months to 13 years include: routine and periodic dental exams; cleanings; fluoride treatments; sealants; comprehensive treatment services, such as fillings, crowns, extractions and space maintenance.

For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $5,140 for each additional person.
Many communities have clinics that charge little or nothing for dental care. They are usually run by nonprofits, community health centers, dental schools and local health departments, and they often rely on grants, donations and public funding. Some serve everyone on a sliding fee scale, while others focus on children, seniors or people without insurance. Every clinic sets its own rules, so call ahead and ask what you qualify for.
