Pediatric dentists are specifically trained to provide comprehensive dental care services to infants and children, including children with special needs. Dental services for children ages 6 months to 13 years include: routine and periodic dental exams; cleanings; fluoride treatments; sealants; comprehensive treatment services, such as fillings, crowns, extractions and space maintenance. Endodontics, services will focus on root canal treatments and re-treatment, endodontic surgery, treating traumatic dental injuries, and, in cases where the original teeth may not be saved, dental implants. Orthodontics, services will focus on orthodontic assessments, diagnostics and diagnostic casting, and the application and adjustment of orthodontic treatment including brackets, bands, arch wires, headgear and/or palatal expanders.
San Ysidro Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center offering high quality, affordable healthcare. If you have government-issued medical insurance, such as Medi-Cal, you may qualify for medical care at no cost to you. Otherwise, you can apply for our affordable sliding scale fee discount program, or request a self-pay payment plan. Regardless of your ability to pay, San Ysidro Health will work hard to meet your medical needs.
