This is a SLIDING SCALE clinic. The costs for clinic services are based on either your income or they offer type of financial assistance. Contact the clinic directly to discuss prices for individual services which vary. Sliding Scale does not necessarily mean free.
Beyond cleaning and repairing teeth and gums, dentists can examine your mouth for signs of mouth cancer and other mouth disorders, such as thrush, cold sores, canker sores, dry mouth or saliva gland disorders.
Am I eligible for the sliding fee scale?
You must be enrolled as a SEARHC beneficiary
You must have an unmet need in one of the services covered
Your unmet need must be one that is not covered by other programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, VA, private insurance, Denali KidCare, VA, etc.
What services are covered?
Durable Medical Goods: Home medical supplies and equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and colostomy supplies.
Pharmaceuticals: Medications not available at SEARHC pharmacies, such as certain specialized diabetes, cholesterol, and blood pressure medications.
Patient Travel: Costs not covered by SEARHC, such as certain escort travel and certain travel costs involved with a referral to Anchorage.

For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $5,140 for each additional person.
Many communities have clinics that charge little or nothing for dental care. They are usually run by nonprofits, community health centers, dental schools and local health departments, and they often rely on grants, donations and public funding. Some serve everyone on a sliding fee scale, while others focus on children, seniors or people without insurance. Every clinic sets its own rules, so call ahead and ask what you qualify for.
